Day 01 : Arrive Kolkata – Guwahati (By Air)

Arrival at Kolkata by an International flight. After clearing the customs and immigration, move towards the arrival hall, where you will be meet by our representative. Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the international airport and transfer to the domestic airport to board the flight for Guwahati.

Day 02 : Guwahati-Bomdilla (240 kms/5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Bomdilla en-route drive past the striking tea gardens of Tezpur to reach Bhalukpung, on the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. After completing entry formalities and lunch we will enter in to Arunachal boarder, gift of endless natural beauty. After 20 minutes drive through twisted roads overlooking the dancing 'Bhoroli' river arrive at Tipi, where lies the Orchidarium, a glass house having 7500 orchids. We continue drive to Bomdila (100kms/4 hrs). Upon arrival at Bomdilla check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 03 : Bomdilla-Tawang (180 kms/6 hrs)

Morning visit the lower and upper Buddhist Monastery (Gompa) in Bomdilla. After a breakfast drive to Tawang, the sacred land of Monpa's. Drive via centuries old Dirang Basti a 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village, still preserves its old stone made houses and its colourful residents with affection in their hearts, Dirang town overlooking the fast flowing Dirang river, Sela pass (13703ft) and Jaswant-Garh Chino-Indian war memorial. Check in at the hotel. With darkness falls one can see light up Tawang Monastery.

Day 04 : Tawang

After breakfast visit 350 years old prominent Buddhist monastery. Tawang Monastery is one of the most largest Monasteries of Mahayana sect in Asia. It was founded by the Mera Lama Lodre Gyasto in 17 century AD in accordance to the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama, Nagwang Lobsang Gyatso. Also visit the nunneries locally called Ani Gompa and Urgelling Monastery. In the evening enjoy ethnic Monpa tribal dances and dances by Lamas.

Day 05 : Tawang 

Morning drive to a Monpa tribal village to experience their culture, life style. Here you will be meeting with local villagers, having interrelation and return to your hotel in Tawang later would be some cultural activity.

Day 06 : Tawang-Dirang (160 kms/7 hrs)

Morning drive to Dirang via Jang waterfall it is one of the breathtaking sights during the tour. Continue drive to Dirang, en-route stopping at Sela pass Top (13000 ft). Upon arrival heck into hotel.

Day 07 : Dirang

Morning after breakfast start exploring the beauty of the Sangti valley and trek through the 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village, where rare Black Necked Cranes come for wintering. Also visit Kalachakra Monastery, Dirang Dzong, Palyul Changchub Dargyeling Monastery, hot water spring 2 km far from dirang bazar.

Day 08 : Dirang-Nameri (209 kms/7 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to the Nameri National Park, the last house of White winged Wood Duck along with many other rare species. Spent whole day on an elephant ride. Accommodation will be in the thatched hut in the Eco Camp; adjacent to the Nameri National Park. The Eco Camp itself offers a golden opportunity to live with the nature.

Day 09 : Nameri-Kaziranga (158 kms/5-6 hrs)

After a leisurely breakfast at Eco camp drive to Kaziranga National park, home of famous One horned rhinos. En-route visit Tezpur, gateway town to Arunachal on the banks of Brahmaputra, home to some ancient mythological sites.

Day 10 : Kaziranga 

Early morning explore central area of Kaziranga National park on an elephant safari. After lunch again take jeep safari to the central area of the park. Rest of the day at leisure to explore nature.

Day 11 : Kaziranga-Guwahati (220 kms/6 hrs)

Morning drive to Guwahati, the largest metropolis in the north-east region of India. It is said to be the "Gateway" of the North East Region situated at the bank of mighty Bramhaputra river. Afternoon visit Government emporium. In the evening a boat cruises on river Brahmaputra.

Day 12 : Guwahati-Kolkata (By Air)

Morning after breakfast guided tour of Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple; where tantricism is still practiced, Kalakshetra for a Glimpse of Assamese culture & tradition, Bashistha Ashram. On time transfer to the airport to board the flight for Kolkata. Assistance upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Kolkata

Day 13 : Kolkata 

Morning guided tour of Kolkata Maidan, Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Saint Paul's Cathedral, Nakhoda Mosque, Marble Palace, Paresnath Jain Temple, Belur Math, Kali Temple, Botanical Gardens, and Mother Teresa's homes.
Overnight in Kolkata

Day 14 : Depart Kolkata. 

On time transfer to airport to board the flight back to home.


Restricted Area Permit is required to visit state of Arunachal Pradesh where lies Bomdilla and Tawang. Foreigner’s one time entry fee being USD 50 for one time entry. We can get it done on behalf of the client with a prior notice of at least a month with filled in documents.
